JOIN US TO CELEBRATE CIRCUS HISTORY!
SATURDAY, OCTOBER 12th marks the 45th Anniversary of The
Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus Clown College
Reunion. As many as 150 clowns will be coming to
Sarasota County from around the world. All are invited
to tour the Venice facility, and join us for a
luncheon meet-and-greet at the Arena on October 12, 2013
at 12:00 PM.
Another activity will be to have their hand prints and
signatures cast in concrete for the CIRCUS WALK OF
FAME. We will be seeking sponsorships for the cost of
the casting. (Appointments for making hand prints must
be scheduled in advance by calling 941-485-7675.)
Created as a fund raiser, the CIRCUS WALK OF FAME is
destined to become a tourist attraction and memorial to
those who gave so much joy to so many. Its a chance to
nominate those Circus Greats you will always remember!
In addition, there will be a SUPPORTER'S WALK designed
for those who appreciate our unique circus history and
wish to show their support in a very personal way.
